Montana High School Basketball - Granite holds off Drummond

January 19, 2024: Philipsburg, MT 59858

Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Granite Prospectors (Philipsburg, MT) and the visiting Drummond Trojans (Drummond, MT), saw Granite's basketball squad hold off Drummond by a tally of 32-29.

With the victory, Granite improves its record to 1-3 on the campaign. The Prospectors travel to Lincoln (Lincoln, MT) to confront the Lynx in a C District 13 challenge on Saturday, January 20. The Lynx come into the challenge with a record of 5-4. Lincoln won 41-35 in their recent league challenge against Seeley-Swan (Seeley Lake, MT)

Next up, the Trojans confront the Victor Pirates (Victor, MT) in a C District 13 challenge, on Saturday, January 20. Drummond will attempt to improve on its 6-3 season record. The Pirates come into the challenge with a 1-3 record after their 36-16 league loss to Valley Christian (Missoula, MT).
