January 19, 2024: South Elgin, IL 60177 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Larkin Royals (Elgin, IL) and the host South Elgin Storm (South Elgin, IL), saw Larkin's basketball squad hold off South Elgin by a count of 52-47.
With the victory, Larkin upgrades its record to 12-10 on the campaign. The Royals host Glenbard East (Lombard, IL) to play the Rams in a Upstate Eight challenge on Monday, January 22. The Rams come into the challenge with a record of 16-6. Glenbard East won 53-24 in their recent league challenge against Streamwood (Streamwood, IL)
Next up, the Storm play the Glenbard East Rams (Lombard, IL) in a Upstate Eight challenge, on Tuesday, January 23. South Elgin will attempt to upgrade on its 6-17 season record. The Rams come into the challenge with a 17-6 record after their 54-25 league win over Larkin (Elgin, IL).
