Texas High School Basketball - Morton Ranch overwhelmed by Seven Lakes
January 19, 2024: Katy, TX 77494 The Seven Lakes Spartans basketball team scored 90 points and restricted the visiting Morton Ranch Mavericks to 36 in the Spartans league victory on Friday.
The Spartans now sport a 22-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mayde Creek for a 6A Region III District 19 contest on Tuesday, January 23. Seven Lakes will battle a Rams team coming off a 51-29 league loss to Cinco Ranch (Katy, TX). The Rams record now stands at 3-27.
The Mavericks (8-20) will now prepare for their contest against Katy Taylor (Katy, TX). The Mustangs come into the 6A Region III District 19 contest with a 24-5 record. In their last contest, Katy Taylor was routed by Tompkins (Katy, TX), 71-49, in a league contest.
