Superior Wildcats (Superior, NE) backers were in high spirits Friday as they observed their basketball team notch a victory over the visiting Red Cloud Warriors (Red Cloud, NE), 44-30 in a non-league game.

In their next game, the Wildcats face the Deshler Dragons (Deshler, NE) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, January 23. Superior will attempt to move on its 9-6 season record. The Dragons enter the game with a 10-2 record after their 50-38 non-league win over Lawrence-Nelson (Nelson, NE).

With the defeat, Red Cloud moves to 8-7 on the year. The Warriors host Blue Hill (Blue Hill, NE) to face the Bobcats in a D1 District 3 game on Saturday, January 20.
