January 20, 2024: Red Cloud, NE 68970 Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Red Cloud Warriors (Red Cloud, NE) and the visiting Blue Hill Bobcats (Blue Hill, NE), saw Red Cloud's basketball squad hold off Blue Hill by a tally of 56-51.
With the victory, Red Cloud improves its record to 9-7 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Heartland Lutheran (Grand Island, NE) to confront the Red Hornets in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 23. The Red Hornets come into the challenge with a record of 5-9. Heartland Lutheran won 33-28 in their recent non-league challenge against Franklin (Franklin, NE)
Next up, the Bobcats confront the Lawrence-Nelson Raiders (Nelson, NE) in a D2 District 4 challenge, on Tuesday, January 23. Blue Hill will attempt to improve on its 4-10 season record. The Raiders come into the challenge with a 3-9 record after their 50-38 non-league loss to Deshler (Deshler, NE).
