Georgia High School Basketball - Woodward Academy overwhelms Rockdale County
January 19, 2024: College Park, GA 30337 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Woodward Academy War Eagles (College Park, GA) and the visiting Rockdale County Bulldogs (Conyers, GA), saw Woodward Academy's basketball squad wallop Rockdale County by a tally of 80-41.
With the victory, Woodward Academy improves its record to 15-5 on the campaign. The War Eagles travel to Forest Park (Forest Park, GA) to play the Panthers in a AAAAAA Region 3 challenge on Tuesday, January 23. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 1-11. Forest Park lost 60-22 in their recent league challenge against Lovejoy (Lovejoy, GA)
Next up, the Bulldogs play the Lovejoy Wildcats (Lovejoy, GA) in a AAAAAA Region 3 challenge, on Tuesday, January 23. Rockdale County will attempt to improve on its 11-7 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 4-9 record after their 60-22 league win over Forest Park (Forest Park, GA).
