Nevada High School Basketball - South Tahoe nips Sparks
January 19, 2024: Sparks, NV 89431 South Tahoe Vikings (South Lake Tahoe, CA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Sparks Railroaders (Sparks, NV), 29-25 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, South Tahoe upgrades its record to 11-4 on the campaign. The Vikings host North Valleys (Reno, NV) to play the Panthers in a bout on Saturday, January 20. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 6-11. North Valleys won 43-24 in their recent league bout against Wooster (Reno, NV)
Next up, the Railroaders play the Wooster Colts (Reno, NV) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 24. Sparks will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Colts come into the bout with a 0-4 record after their 43-24 league loss to North Valleys (Reno, NV).
