California High School Basketball - Steele Canyon overwhelms Valhalla
January 19, 2024: El Cajon, CA 92019 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Steele Canyon Cougars (Spring Valley, CA) and the host Valhalla Norsemen (El Cajon, CA), saw Steele Canyon's basketball squad wallop Valhalla by a tally of 65-8.
With the victory, Steele Canyon improves its record to 14-5 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Bonita Vista (Chula Vista, CA) to confront the Barons in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 20. The Barons come into the challenge with a record of 11-2. Bonita Vista won 45-43 in their recent non-league challenge against Palisades (Pacific Palisades, CA)
Next up, the Norsemen confront the West Hills Wolf Pack (Santee, CA) in a challenge, on Tuesday, January 23. Valhalla will attempt to improve on its 3-5 season record. The Wolf Pack come into the challenge with a 0-6 record after their 39-20 league loss to Steele Canyon (Spring Valley, CA).
