Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Yough overwhelms Brownsville
January 2, 2023: Herminie, PA 15637 Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Yough Cougars (Herminie, PA) and the visiting Brownsville Falcons (Brownsville, PA), saw Yough's basketball squad wallop Brownsville by a tally of 39-16.
With the victory, Yough improves its record to 4-5 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Charleroi (Charleroi, PA) to confront the Cougars in a WPIAL 3A 4 challenge on Thursday, January 5. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 4-3. Charleroi lost 65-55 in their recent league challenge against Waynesburg Central (Waynesburg, PA)
Next up, the Falcons confront the South Park Eagles (South Park, PA) in a WPIAL 3A 4 challenge, on Thursday, January 5. Brownsville will attempt to improve on its 5-5 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 3-5 record after their 42-27 league win over McGuffey (Claysville, PA).
