January 2, 2023: Escondido, CA 92026 Carlsbad Lancers (Carlsbad, CA) fans were thrilled Monday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Escondido Cougars (Escondido, CA), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Lancers face the Montgomery Aztecs (San Diego, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 6. Carlsbad will attempt to better on its 4-2 season record. The Aztecs enter the challenge with a 4-6 record after their 1-0 non-league win over Fallbrook (Fallbrook, CA).
The Cougars now have a 2-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Vista for a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 5.
