Louisiana High School Basketball - Anacoco can't hold off Leesville
January 2, 2024: Leesville, LA 71446 The Leesville Wampus Cats basketball team scored 39 points and restricted the visiting Anacoco Indians to 36 in the Wampus Cats non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Wampus Cats now sport a 10-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pickering for a non-league contest on Monday, January 8. Leesville will battle a Red Devils team coming off a 79-55 non-league loss to Lake Charles College Prep (Lake Charles, LA). The Red Devils record now stands at 13-6.
The Indians (21-6) will now prepare for their contest against Elizabeth (Elizabeth, LA). The Bulldogs come into the B District 4 contest with a 8-9 record.
