New York High School Basketball - South Jefferson nudges Carthage
January 2, 2024: Adams, NY 13605 In Tuesday's non-league outing, the South Jefferson Spartans (Adams, NY) basketball squad edged the visiting Carthage Comets (Carthage, NY), by a count of 60-58.
The Spartans (3-3) will now prepare for their outing against Institute of Tech (Syracuse, NY). The Eagles go into the Section 3 Onondaga - Liberty American outing with a 3-1 record.
The Comets now hold a 6-5 record. They play next when they host Cortland for a non-league outing on Friday, January 5. Carthage will clash with a Purple Tigers squad coming off a 37-28 non-league loss to Homer (Homer, NY). The Purple Tigers record now stands at 1-7.
