January 2, 2024: Bridgeville, PA 15017 The Chartiers Valley Colts (Bridgeville, PA) basketball knocked off the visiting West Allegheny Indians (Imperial, PA), 66-51 in Tuesday's league test.
The Colts (6-5) will now prepare for their test against South Fayette (McDonald, PA). The Lions go into the WPIAL 5A 4 test with a 3-4 record. In their last test, South Fayette went down by Downingtown West (Downingtown, PA), 64-60, in a non-league test.
The Indians now own a 5-2 record. They play next when they host Mars for a WPIAL 5A 4 test on Friday, January 5. West Allegheny will encounter a Fightin' Planets squad coming off a 85-73 league win over North Hills (Pittsburgh, PA). The Fightin' Planets record now stands at 6-4.
