Texas High School Basketball - LBJ Austin overwhelms Eastside Early College
January 2, 2024: Austin, TX 78724 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the LBJ Austin Jaguars (Austin, TX) and the visiting Eastside Early College Panthers (Austin, TX), saw LBJ Austin's basketball squad wallop Eastside Early College by a tally of 72-42.
With the victory, LBJ Austin improves its record to 6-16 on the campaign. The Jaguars travel to Travis (Austin, TX) to confront the Rebels in a 5A Region III District 24 challenge on Friday, January 5. The Rebels come into the challenge with a record of 3-13. Travis lost 53-43 in their recent league challenge against Northeast Early College (Austin, TX)
Next up, the Panthers confront the Navarro Vikings (Austin, TX) in a 5A Region III District 24 challenge, on Friday, January 5. Eastside Early College will attempt to improve on its 4-8 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 2-14 record after their 61-27 league loss to Liberal Arts & Science Academy - Austin (Austin, TX).
