Minnesota High School Basketball - Hayfield crushes Grand Meadow
January 2, 2024: Hayfield, MN 55940 Hayfield Vikings (Hayfield, MN) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Grand Meadow Superlarks (Grand Meadow, MN), 68-42 in a league bout.
With the win, Hayfield upgrades its record to 3-10 on the season. The Vikings travel to Medford (Medford, MN) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Friday, January 5. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 0-2. Medford lost 76-31 in their recent non-league bout against Kenyon-Wanamingo (Kenyon, MN)
Next up, the Superlarks play the Kingsland Knights (Spring Valley, MN) in a A Section 1 bout, on Thursday, January 4. Grand Meadow will attempt to upgrade on its 0-9 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 5-0 record after their 75-70 league win over Southland (Adams, MN).
