Kenyon-Wanamingo Knights (Kenyon, MN) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Medford Tigers (Medford, MN), 76-31 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Kenyon-Wanamingo upgrades its record to 6-7 on the season. The Knights travel to New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva (New Richland, MN) to play the Panthers in a AA Section 2 bout on Friday, January 5. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 2-8. New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva lost 66-33 in their recent non-league bout against Fairmont (Fairmont, MN)

Next up, the Tigers play the Hayfield Vikings (Hayfield, MN) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 5. Medford will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Vikings go into the bout with a 3-10 record after their 68-42 league win over Grand Meadow (Grand Meadow, MN).
