Minnesota High School Basketball - Hayfield topped by Kenyon-Wanamingo
February 2, 2024: Hayfield, MN 55940 The Kenyon-Wanamingo Knights basketball team scored 58 points and restricted the host Hayfield Vikings to 50 in the Knights league victory on Friday.
The Knights now sport a 12-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bethlehem Academy for a non-league contest on Monday, February 5. Kenyon-Wanamingo will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 60-46 non-league win over Triton (Dodge Center, MN). The Cardinals record now stands at 5-13.
The Vikings (4-19) will now prepare for their contest against New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva (New Richland, MN). The Panthers come into the non-league contest with a 3-18 record. In their last contest, New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva was defeated by United South Central (Wells, MN), 52-35, in a league contest.
