Minnesota High School Basketball - United South Central nips Hayfield
January 19, 2024: Wells, MN 56097 United South Central Rebels (Wells, MN) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Hayfield Vikings (Hayfield, MN), 54-47 in a non-league bout.
With the win, United South Central upgrades its record to 10-4 on the season. The Rebels travel to Alden-Conger (Alden, MN) to play the Knights in a A Section 2 bout on Saturday, January 20. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 7-9. Alden-Conger won 73-53 in their recent league bout against Nicollet (Nicollet, MN)
Next up, the Vikings play the Blooming Prairie Awesome Blossoms (Blooming Prairie, MN) in a A Section 1 bout, on Tuesday, January 23. Hayfield will attempt to upgrade on its 4-16 season record.
