Minnesota High School Basketball - United South Central knocked off by Maple River
January 9, 2024: Mapleton, MN 56065 The Maple River Eagles basketball team scored 63 points and held the visiting United South Central Rebels to 47 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Eagles now sport a 8-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sargent County for a non-league contest on Friday, January 12. Maple River will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 46-44 non-league win over Ellendale (Ellendale, ND). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-3.
The Rebels (8-4) will now prepare for their contest against Kenyon-Wanamingo (Kenyon, MN). The Knights enter the non-league contest with a 8-8 record. In their last contest, Kenyon-Wanamingo was outscored by Goodhue (Goodhue, MN), 68-41, in a league contest.
