February 5, 2024: Janesville, MN 56048 Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton Bulldogs (Janesville, MN) and the visiting Maple River Eagles (Mapleton, MN), saw Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton's basketball squad overcome Maple River by a tally of 61-53.
With the victory, Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton improves its record to 18-4 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva (New Richland, MN) to confront the Panthers in a AA Section 2 challenge on Friday, February 9. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 3-20. New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva lost 69-51 in their recent league challenge against Waterville-Elysian-Morristown (Waterville, MN)
Next up, the Eagles confront the Wyndmere/Lidgerwood Warbirds (Wyndmere, ND) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 5. Maple River will attempt to improve on its 17-20 season record. The Warbirds come into the challenge with a 4-10 record after their 66-59 league loss to Sargent County (Milnor, ND).
