California High School Basketball - Heritage Christian tops Valley Christian
January 2, 2024: Northridge, CA 91343 Heritage Christian Warriors (Northridge, CA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Valley Christian Defenders (Cerritos, CA), 79-61 in a league bout.
With the victory, Heritage Christian upgrades its record to 11-7 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Whittier Christian (La Habra, CA) to play the Heralds in a Olympic bout on Friday, January 5. The Heralds come into the bout with a record of 8-10. Whittier Christian lost 75-59 in their recent non-league bout against Upland (Upland, CA)
Next up, the Defenders play the Loyola Cubs (Los Angeles, CA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 3. Valley Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 10-7 season record. The Cubs come into the bout with a 11-6 record after their 82-42 non-league win over Boulder City (Boulder City, NV).
