Massachusetts High School Basketball - St. John's nips Malden Catholic
January 2, 2024: Malden, MA 02148 St. John's Pioneers (Shrewsbury, MA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Malden Catholic Lancers (Malden, MA), 60-58 in a non-league bout.
With the win, St. John's upgrades its record to 3-0 on the season. The Pioneers travel to Catholic Memorial (West Roxbury, MA) to play the Knights in a non-league bout on Friday, January 5. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 2-0.
Next up, the Lancers play the St. John's Prep Eagles (Danvers, MA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 5. Malden Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
