January 2, 2024: El Paso, TX 79924 Andress Eagles (El Paso, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Horizon Scorpions (El Paso, TX), 56-6 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Andress upgrades its record to 11-11 on the season. The Eagles host El Paso (El Paso, TX) to play the Tigers in a 5A Region I District 1 bout on Friday, January 5. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 16-5. El Paso lost 55-28 in their recent non-league bout against Hanks (El Paso, TX)
Next up, the Scorpions play the Del Valle Conquistadores (El Paso, TX) in a 5A Region I District 2 bout, on Friday, January 5. Horizon will attempt to upgrade on its 4-13 season record. The Conquistadores go into the bout with a 9-13 record after their 58-28 non-league loss to Americas (El Paso, TX).
