January 23, 2024: El Paso, TX 79902 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Andress Eagles (El Paso, TX) and the host El Paso Tigers (El Paso, TX), saw Andress's basketball squad hold off El Paso by a tally of 38-32.
With the victory, Andress improves its record to 13-15 on the campaign. The Eagles host Canutillo (Canutillo, TX) to play the Eagles in a 5A Region I District 1 challenge on Friday, January 26. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 16-9. Canutillo lost 75-15 in their recent league challenge against Burges (El Paso, TX)
Next up, the Tigers play the Jefferson Silver Foxes (El Paso, TX) in a 5A Region I District 1 challenge, on Friday, January 26. El Paso will attempt to improve on its 19-8 season record. The Silver Foxes come into the challenge with a 3-20 record after their 51-12 league loss to Chapin (El Paso, TX).
