Oregon High School Basketball - Canby fells Hood River Valley
January 2, 2024: Hood River, OR 97031 Canby Cougars (Canby, OR) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Hood River Valley Eagles (Hood River, OR), 54-45 in a league bout.
With the win, Canby upgrades its record to 6-4 on the season. The Cougars host Hillsboro (Hillsboro, OR) to clash with the Spartans in a 5A Northwest Oregon bout on Friday, January 5. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 5-4. Hillsboro lost 57-51 in their recent non-league game against Forest Grove (Forest Grove, OR)
With the defeat, Hood River Valley moves to 4-4 on the year. The Eagles travel to Mountain View (Vancouver, WA) to face the Thunder in a non-league game on Thursday, January 4. The Thunder enter the game with a record of 10-2. Mountain View lost 51-29 in their recent non-league game against Rainier (Rainier, WA)
