The Center Roughriders basketball team scored 49 points and restricted the visiting Spring Hill Panthers to 26 in the Roughriders league victory on Tuesday.

The Roughriders now sport a 13-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gilmer for a 4A Region III District 17 contest on Friday, January 5. Center will battle a Buckeyes team coming off a 44-33 league win over Carthage (Carthage, TX). The Buckeyes record now stands at 7-8.

The Panthers (11-12) will now prepare for their contest against Chapel Hill (Tyler, TX). The Bulldogs come into the 4A Region III District 17 contest with a 13-10 record. In their last contest, Chapel Hill was routed by LaPoynor (LaRue, TX), 43-33, in a non-league contest.
