Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Desert Christian Knights (Lancaster, CA) and the visiting Vasquez Mustangs (Acton, CA), saw Desert Christian's basketball squad overcome Vasquez by a tally of 32-18.

With the victory, Desert Christian improves its record to 6-6 on the campaign. The Knights host Lancaster Baptist (Lancaster, CA) to confront the Eagles in a Heritage challenge on Thursday, January 4. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 4-3.

Next up, the Mustangs confront the The Palmdale Aerospace Academy Griffins (Palmdale, CA) in a Heritage challenge, on Thursday, January 4. Vasquez will attempt to improve on its 7-6 season record. The Griffins come into the challenge with a 2-8 record after their 74-6 non-league loss to Sierra Pacific (Hanford, CA).
