Wisconsin High School Basketball - Mauston crushes Gale-Ettrick-Trempealeau
January 2, 2024: Mauston, WI 53948 Mauston Golden Eagles (Mauston, WI) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Gale-Ettrick-Trempealeau Red Hawks (Galesville, WI), 76-41 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Mauston upgrades its record to 10-2 on the campaign. The Golden Eagles travel to Adams-Friendship (Adams, WI) to play the Green Devils in a South Central bout on Thursday, January 4. The Green Devils come into the bout with a record of 2-10. Adams-Friendship won 61-39 in their recent non-league bout against Northland Pines (Eagle River, WI)
Next up, the Red Hawks play the Westby Norsemen (Westby, WI) in a Coulee bout, on Thursday, January 4. Gale-Ettrick-Trempealeau will attempt to upgrade on its 3-11 season record. The Norsemen come into the bout with a 5-9 record after their 68-31 non-league loss to Houston (Houston, MN).
