Arkansas High School Basketball - Hoxie ripped by Mountain View
January 2, 2024: Hoxie, AR 72433 The Mountain View Yellowjackets basketball team scored 66 points and held the host Hoxie Mustangs to 27 in the Yellowjackets league triumph on Tuesday.
The Yellowjackets now sport a 11-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Salem for a 3A Region 2 contest on Friday, January 5. Mountain View will battle a Greyhounds team coming off a 57-31 league win over Newport (Newport, AR). The Greyhounds record now stands at 12-5.
The Mustangs (0-11) will now prepare for their contest against Melbourne (Melbourne, AR). The Bearkatz enter the 3A Region 2 contest with a 11-6 record. In their last contest, Melbourne triumphed over Cave City (Cave City, AR), 61-25, in a league contest.
