New Jersey High School Basketball - Voorhees tops Phillipsburg
January 2, 2024: Glen Gardner, NJ 08826 Voorhees Vikings (Glen Gardner, NJ) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Phillipsburg Stateliners (Phillipsburg, NJ), 56-42 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Voorhees upgrades its record to 7-0 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Warren Hills Regional (Washington, NJ) to play the Blue Streaks in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 4. The Blue Streaks come into the bout with a record of 4-2.
Next up, the Stateliners play the Hunterdon Central Red Devils (Flemington, NJ) in a Skyland - Raritan bout, on Thursday, January 4. Phillipsburg will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Red Devils come into the bout with a 4-4 record after their 48-37 non-league loss to Randolph (Randolph, NJ).
