New Jersey High School Basketball - North Hunterdon nips Phillipsburg
February 14, 2024: Phillipsburg, NJ 08865 North Hunterdon Lions (Annandale, NJ) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Phillipsburg Stateliners (Phillipsburg, NJ), 49-43 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, North Hunterdon upgrades its record to 11-13 on the campaign. The Lions travel to South Hunterdon (Lambertville, NJ) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Friday, February 16. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 7-17. South Hunterdon won 59-45 in their recent non-league bout against Koinonia Academy (Plainfield, NJ)
Next up, the Stateliners play the Watchung Hills Regional Warriors (Warren, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 17. Phillipsburg will attempt to upgrade on its 15-8 season record. The Warriors come into the bout with a 7-17 record after their 55-47 non-league win over South Plainfield (South Plainfield, NJ).
