January 2, 2024: Fairfax, VA 22031 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the West Potomac Wolverines (Alexandria, VA) and the host Woodson Cavaliers (Fairfax, VA), saw West Potomac's basketball squad overcome Woodson by a tally of 54-40.
With the victory, West Potomac improves its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The Wolverines travel to Alexandria City (Alexandria, VA) to play the Titans in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 4. The Titans come into the challenge with a record of 3-2. Alexandria City won 37-24 in their recent non-league challenge against Robinson (Fairfax, VA)
Next up, the Cavaliers play the Lake Braddock Bruins (Burke, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 5. Woodson will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record. The Bruins come into the challenge with a 3-2 record after their 31-22 non-league loss to West Springfield (Springfield, VA).
