The Mayfield Trojans topped the visiting Silver Fighting Colts basketball team by a final score of 50-36 in Tuesday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Trojans face the Roswell Coyotes (Roswell, NM) in a non-league game, on Friday, January 12. Mayfield will attempt to better on its 2-4 season record.

The Fighting Colts (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against Organ Mountain (Las Cruces, NM). The Knights come into the non-league contest with a 3-3 record. In their last contest, Organ Mountain was defeated by Hobbs (Hobbs, NM), 65-45, in a non-league contest.
