New Mexico High School Basketball - Organ Mountain overwhelms Silver
January 5, 2024: Silver City, NM 88061 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Organ Mountain Knights (Las Cruces, NM) and the host Silver Fighting Colts (Silver City, NM), saw Organ Mountain's basketball squad wallop Silver by a tally of 50-25.
With the victory, Organ Mountain improves its record to 4-3 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Los Lunas (Los Lunas, NM) to confront the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 9. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 3-6. Los Lunas lost 39-37 in their recent non-league challenge against Las Cruces (Las Cruces, NM)
Next up, the Fighting Colts confront the Cobre Indians (Bayard, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 15. Silver will attempt to improve on its 0-4 season record.
