Ohio High School Basketball - Hilltop sneaks past North Central
January 2, 2025: West Unity, OH 43570 The Hilltop Cadets (West Unity, OH) basketball edged the visiting North Central Eagles (Pioneer, OH), 53-50 in Thursday's league bout.
The Cadets now possess a 4-5 record. They play next when they host Camden-Frontier for a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 7. Hilltop will play a Redskins team coming off a 71-31 league loss to Waldron (Waldron, MI). The Redskins record now stands at 1-7.
With the loss, North Central falls to 2-6 on the campaign. The Eagles host Evergreen (Metamora, OH) to play the Vikings in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 4. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 5-3. Evergreen won 68-50 in their recent non-league bout against Cardinal Stritch (Oregon, OH)
