Louisiana High School Basketball - Teurlings Catholic holds off Lutcher
January 2, 2025: Lafayette, LA 70501 The Teurlings Catholic Rebels basketball team scored 42 points and limited the visiting Lutcher Bulldogs to 35 in the Rebels non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Rebels now possess a 9-4 record. They play next when they host St. James for a non-league game on Friday, January 3. Teurlings Catholic will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 76-38 non-league loss to Denham Springs (Denham Springs, LA). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-4.
With the loss, Lutcher falls to 3-8 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Hahnville (Boutte, LA) to confront the Tigers in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 7. The Tigers go into the game with a record of 7-9. Hahnville lost 47-39 in their recent non-league game against Slidell (Slidell, LA)
