Louisiana High School Basketball - Teurlings Catholic holds off St. James
January 3, 2025: Lafayette, LA 70501 The Teurlings Catholic Rebels basketball team scored 41 points and limited the visiting St. James Wildcats to 37 in the Rebels non-league triumph on Friday.
The Rebels now possess a 14-5 record. They play next when they host St. Charles Catholic for a non-league game on Saturday, January 4. Teurlings Catholic will confront a Comets team coming off a 45-43 non-league loss to Northlake Christian (Covington, LA). The Comets record now stands at 11-9.
With the loss, St. James falls to 4-8 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Riverside Academy (Reserve, LA) to confront the Rebels in a non-league game on Saturday, January 4. The Rebels go into the game with a record of 3-5. Riverside Academy lost 60-50 in their recent non-league game against Doyle (Livingston, LA)
