The Walker Wildcats basketball team scored 70 points and limited the host Assumption Mustangs to 22 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Wildcats now have a 19-0 record. They play next when they travel to White Castle for a non-league game on Friday, January 3. Walker will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 48-43 non-league loss to East St. John (Reserve, LA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 10-7.

With the loss, Assumption falls to 5-8 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to St. James (St. James, LA) to confront the Wildcats in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 7. The Wildcats go into the game with a record of 4-5.
