The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Blackhawk Cougars (Beaver Falls, PA) and the visiting Central Valley Warriors (Monaca, PA), observed Blackhawk's basketball team overwhelm Central Valley by a score of 61-37.

The Cougars (10-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Lincoln Park Performing Arts (Midland, PA). The come into the WPIAL 4A 2 challenge with a 0-4 record. In their last challenge, Lincoln Park Performing Arts was routed by Hampton (Allison Park, PA), 41-34, in a non-league challenge.
