The Hershey Panthers basketball squad (Hershey, NE), was nudged 64-62 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Broken Bow Indians (Broken Bow, NE)

With the victory, Broken Bow advances its record to 7-1 on the year. The Indians travel to Northwest (Grand Island, NE) to meet the Vikings in a non-league battle on Friday, January 3. The Vikings enter the battle with a record of 5-3. Northwest won 50-39 in their recent non-league battle against Centennial (Utica, NE)

The Panthers now own a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host South Loup for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 7. Hershey will meet a squad coming off a 36-35 non-league win over Sandhills Valley (Stapleton, NE). The record now stands at 1-7.
