Minnesota High School Basketball - Southwest Minnesota Christian holds off Westbrook-Walnut Grove
January 2, 2025: Westbrook, MN 56183 In Thursday's league contest, the visiting Southwest Minnesota Christian Eagles basketball team scored a close 54-49 triumph over the Westbrook-Walnut Grove Chargers.
The Eagles (8-3) will now prepare for their contest against Edgerton (Edgerton, MN). The Flying Dutchmen go into the A Section 3 contest with a 5-8 record. In their last contest, Edgerton was tipped by Russell-Tyler-Ruthton (Tyler, MN), 40-39, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Chargers confront the Adrian/Ellsworth Dragons (Adrian, MN) in a A Section 3 contest, on Tuesday, January 7. Westbrook-Walnut Grove will attempt to better on its 8-3 season record. The Dragons go into the contest with a 8-4 record after their 74-50 non-league win over Mountain Lake/Comfrey (Mountain Lake, MN).
