The Lincoln Northeast Rockets (Lincoln, NE) basketball nipped the host Lincoln Southwest Silver Hawks (Lincoln, NE), 55-51 in Thursday's league test.

The Rockets (12-2) will now prepare for their test against Lincoln Southeast (Lincoln, NE). The Knights go into the A District TBD test with a 6-7 record. In their last test, Lincoln Southeast was tipped by Fremont (Fremont, NE), 38-37, in a league test.

The Silver Hawks now own a 8-4 record. They play next when they travel to Kearney for a A District TBD test on Saturday, January 22. Lincoln Southwest will encounter a Bearcats squad coming off a 74-26 league loss to Pius X (Lincoln, NE). The Bearcats record now stands at 6-7.
