California High School Basketball - Independence tipped by West

In Thursday's league match, the host West Vikings basketball team scored a tight 50-46 triumph over the Independence Falcons.

In their next game, the Vikings meet the Tehachapi Warriors (Tehachapi, CA) in a South Yosemite match, on Tuesday, January 25. West will attempt to move on its 9-6 season record. The Warriors enter the match with a 8-6 record after their 40-38 league win over Golden Valley (Bakersfield, CA).

With the defeat, Independence moves to 6-13 on the year. The Falcons host Ridgeview (Bakersfield, CA) to meet the Wolf Pack in a South Yosemite match on Tuesday, January 25.
