Game Summary
We played fairly even with the Marauders for most of the first half in the heavy mist, though we just couldn't muster much of an offense. They got their first goal in the 15th minute as they outshot us with 7 balls on frame in 11 attempts to our 1-in-2 in the first half. Lidia's terrific rejection of a sure goal shot in the 25th minute kept their lead at 1 at halftime. The rain began with the second half, but it didn't dampen Maclay's production, while ours remained half-drowned. They got a second goal on a well-placed shot banged in from the right in the 40th minute, and followed with 2 more in the 44th and 66th minutes. We had no answers, and our hope for a fourth straight positive result was not to be.
