January 20, 2023: Hemlock, MI 48626 In Friday's non-league outing, the Bay City Western Warriors (Auburn, MI) basketball squad beat the host Hemlock Huskies (Hemlock, MI), by a count of 64-49.
The Warriors (3-6) will now prepare for their outing against Arthur Hill (Saginaw, MI). The Lumberjacks go into the Saginaw Valley outing with a 4-7 record. In their last outing, Arthur Hill was topped by Ottawa Hills (Grand Rapids, MI), 86-59, in a non-league outing.
The Huskies now hold a 2-8 record. They play next when they travel to Ithaca for a Tri-Valley - West outing on Tuesday, January 24. Hemlock will clash with a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 61-51 league loss to Nouvel Catholic Central (Saginaw, MI). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 6-6.
