The Philip Scotties basketball team scored 73 points and restricted the visiting Bennett County Warriors to 28 in the Scotties non-league victory on Friday.

The Scotties now sport a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kadoka for a B Region 7 contest on Saturday, January 21. Philip will battle a Kougars team coming off a 58-49 league loss to Jones County (Murdo, SD). The Kougars record now stands at 3-6.

The Warriors (0-8) will now prepare for their contest against St. Francis Indian (St. Francis, SD). The Warriors come into the A Region 7 contest with a 3-8 record.
