Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Jones County Coyotes (Murdo, SD) and the host Bennett County Warriors (Martin, SD), saw Jones County's basketball squad overcome Bennett County by a tally of 78-59.

With the victory, Jones County improves its record to 11-8 on the campaign. The Coyotes travel to New Underwood (New Underwood, SD) to confront the Tigers in a B Region 7 challenge on Friday, February 24. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 7-12. New Underwood lost 79-46 in their recent league challenge against White River (White River, SD)

Next up, the Warriors confront the Red Cloud Crusaders (Pine Ridge, SD) in a A Region 7 challenge, on Monday, February 20. Bennett County will attempt to improve on its 0-17 season record.
