January 20, 2023: Rogers, MN 55374 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Blaine Bengals (Blaine, MN) and the host Rogers Royals (Rogers, MN), saw Blaine's basketball squad hold off Rogers by a tally of 67-60.
With the victory, Blaine improves its record to 10-3 on the campaign. The Bengals host Andover (Andover, MN) to play the Huskies in a AAAA Section 7 challenge on Tuesday, January 24. The Huskies come into the challenge with a record of 9-5. Andover won 86-52 in their recent league challenge against Centennial (Circle Pines, MN)
Next up, the Royals play the Robbinsdale Armstrong Falcons (Plymouth, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 24. Rogers will attempt to improve on its 4-10 season record. The Falcons come into the challenge with a 5-9 record after their 93-54 non-league loss to Park Center (Brooklyn Park, MN).
