California High School Basketball - Coast Union nips Cuyama Valley
January 20, 2023: New Cuyama, CA 93254 Coast Union Broncos (Cambria, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Cuyama Valley Bears (New Cuyama, CA), 48-47 in a league bout.
With the win, Coast Union upgrades its record to 4-13 on the season. The Broncos host Shandon (Shandon, CA) to play the Outlaws in a Coast Valley bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Outlaws go into the bout with a record of 0-11. Shandon lost 51-21 in their recent league bout against Coastal Christian (Pismo Beach, CA)
Next up, the Bears play the San Luis Obispo Classical Academy Grizzlies (San Luis Obispo, CA) in a Coast Valley bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Cuyama Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 3-8 season record. The Grizzlies go into the bout with a 8-3 record after their 73-25 league win over Shandon (Shandon, CA).
