The Cornerstone Christian Cyclones basketball team scored 72 points and held the visiting Greenview Bulldogs to 21 in the Cyclones league triumph on Friday.
The Cyclones now sport a 15-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Arthur-Okaw Christian for a East Central Illinois contest on Saturday, January 21. Cornerstone Christian will battle a Conquering Riders team coming off a 59-50 league loss to Calvary Christian Academy (Normal, IL). The Conquering Riders record now stands at 17-9.
The Bulldogs (5-15) will now prepare for their contest against Judah Christian (Champaign, IL). The Tribe enter the East Central Illinois contest with a 4-11 record. In their last contest, Judah Christian was routed by Arthur-Okaw Christian (Arthur, IL), 44-32, in a league contest.
